about

"In the digital age, an album thats 3 years old seems antique. But Funeral Pop, years later, still fits a rainy day like any other rainy day. With slow-to-turn melodies and cornered verses, it may take a few moments for the songs to open up. Given their due time, these tracks shine like the silver lining in any rain cloud."

The Birth of Funeral Pop

This is the sound of my beloved desert. Wind swept, sun baked, and filled with the most beautiful sounds. If you can only just listen, it is all there, every note, every harmony, and every falling tear.

These songs are me. They are how I saw the world at a very specific time in my life, when all my preconceived notions were being challenged, dissected and ultimately uprooted.

This album is my love letter to my favorite kind of music, music that makes me laugh, makes me cry, makes me feel, music that speaks to my very essence. Funeral Pop.

Enjoy,
